HIDDEN - obsolete- Dentist production (monthly) calculations
PrintDescription
Playbook Dashboards offer a great overview of financial and clinical information relating to your practice. Many of these dashboards can be reproduced in Reports. Doing so may allow you to explore the data further, and to your more precise criteria.
Note - Dashboards are updated periodically throughout the day, where reports are based on real-time data, so the data representations may not match up exactly.
Steps
For a comparable report that corresponds to the ‘Dentist production (monthly)’ view on the Dentist and Hygienist Production dashboard, follow these steps:
- Open the Reports module.
- In Financial Reports section, select the ‘Production Summary’ report. A new page will open with report:
- In ‘Report Filters’, apply the following filters:
- In the ‘What is the date range?’ filter, select ‘In a date range’ and then select the month you wish to calculate
- In the ‘Which provider(s) of service do you want to report on?’ select all the dentists in the list of providers.
- In the ‘Which section(s) would you like displayed?’ filter pick ‘Totals’.
- Click the ‘Run Report’ button.
- Production by dentists for the selected month is available on the bottom of report under ‘Production by provider’ of ‘All Provider’ section.
Note- To collect the data represented by the ‘Dentist production (monthly)’ view, a separate report will need to be generated for each month. You will need to choose one month, write down the total, and then select another month, as there is at least six months of data.
