Patient Preferred Clinic

For those of you with multiple clinics, this feature may interest you. You can now indicate which clinic a patient prefers to have dental work.

Steps

  1. To attach a preferred clinic to a patient, simply click on 'Profile' in the Sidekick.
  2. In the Other information area, a new field has been added 'Patient's preferred clinic'. The option to select a preferred clinic only appears when more than one clinic has been created in Curve Practice Information.
  3. To change the preferred clinic, click on the clinic listed and select the preferred clinic from the drop down menu.




Note:When a new patient or non-patient contact is added the the system, the clinic that the user is logged into will be set as the preferred clinic, however, you can add this as a field to enter at the time the patient is created by going into administration and clicking on "patient profile views setup" and adding the preferred clinic to the add patient column.



You can also add Patient's preferred clinic, RP's preferred clinic, or HoH's preferred clinic as column options to your new or existing patient reports. The column names would look like this:
